I will be mostly polishing my halo today. I think (hope?) I created just a little bit of peace in the world.
You see West Bridgford is a fabulous, calm, fun place to be, the people are friendly and happy and we enjoy our sporting stadia. 

• Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, home Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and many Test Matches 
• Nottingham Forest Foot ball Club
• Notts County Football Club
• Holme Pierrepont Watersports Cente
• Trent FM Arena home to Nottingham Panthers
• Nottingham Race Course

So you can imagine what happens on match days - our beautiful calm corner of Nottingham turns into a war zone for car parking spaces, where otherwise civilised people abandon their cars wherever they see fit & to hell with the consequences (yes, our jolly civil enforcement officers have a field day - I've even seen one smile on a match day)
But at our luxury serviced apartments the peace will remain this week, as the Test Match gets underway, because we have installed lockable parking barriers to give our guests the peace of mind that they can come and go as they please. I wonder if the pedestrian guests will be renting out their spaces!? 
Sometimes it's the little things that matter - well that's what we believe at Nook & Cranny, anything else just wouldn't be Cricket!
