Stayed at Ground Floor one bed with Garden
December 2018
West Bridgeford is my original hometown so it was so nice to get to stay here while visiting my family from San Francisco. It was an easy check in which is always good. The apartment is in a house that resembled what I grew up in, clean and bright with super comfortable beds and a fabulous soaking bath. Having a washer dryer was a bonus!

Erin, Philadelphia, January 2016:
Katie's flat was exactly as described and more! It was absolutely stunning and completely spotless when we arrived! Prior to arriving, Katie responded to emails/questions immediately which of course put me at ease having booked a flat abroad (and my first Airbnb flat!) The location was perfect for us being in West Bridgford and just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and cafes. As my husband and I travel frequently to the UK to visit family, staying in a hotel with parking fees is quite pricey so I must say that we really enjoyed the secure, assigned parking space we had at Katie's flat. Thank you so much for providing us with our home away from home during the holiday season!
Penny, February 2015:
Both me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay very much. The flat we stayed in was in a perfect location. Very closed to the bars and restaurants. Only 5 minutes walk to the Trent river. Katie has been really helpful. We highly recommend it.
Kathy, Australia, October 2014:
Great apartment in a great and convenient location. Katie went out of her way to make me feel welcome and help me out (when I broke the key!!). Would highly recommend the place and the host! Everything you needed was there. Transport is close by and the shops just down the road.
Shobhna, Dubhai, September 2014:
Katie answered all my questions promptly, was available on the phone even at 10pm at night and provided lots of useful information about the area. Felt like I was moving into a friend's flat.
Response from Katie:
That's such a lovely thing to say - thanks so much. Hope to see you again soon Shobhna, Katie
Paul, September 2014:
Katie made us feel very welcome and indeed we discovered that my brother and her were already acquainted. The apartment was in a perfect location and allowed us to visit family and get around the place easily with good public transport and easy walking distance to the town. There were some problems in that the Internet and also the washing machine did not work on arrival but the problems were handled and sorted out quickly by Katie.
Patricia, June 2014:
I stayed for a week in one of Katie's properties in West Bridgford. Katie was a great host - really helpful and friendly. The flat was ideal - all new and modern furnishings. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. There were also some lovely little touches included. West Bridgford is a lovely area - the flat is in a small gated development and is a short walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants. I would be really happy to stay here again and would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Chris, September 2014:
We needed to find accommodation in Nottingham with two days notice and fortunately this pad was available. Katie was very prompt in her responses and we were fully prepared for the locality with all the information on her web page. She texted me the details of the key code in advance so we were able to get in without having to call her out (although she insisted this wouldn't be a bother). The accommodation was exactly as described and pictured and it was great to be able to unpack our chopping, make a cuppa, and prepare our breakfasts in the mornings. Everything we needed was there. Internet access was easy and the TV/DVD fine. I noticed in a previous review that the bed was uncomfortable. Well, Katie must have changed it as promised because we found it very comfortable. The shower was very good. Overall, a perfect place for us that met our needs and expectations, gave us complete freedom and well worth the very reasonable price. Would stay here again.

Helen, September 2014:
Katie was very helpful and prompt when we enquired about her property. The property was as advertised and very clean. It was great to have the basics supplied on arrival, a very nice touch. One thing we were concerned about was whether it would be quiet enough as it was in a block of flats, it was so quiet. Where the property is situated in West Bridgford is a great location when visiting Nottingham. You are really close to everything, cricket, football, buses, great restaurants and supermarkets. West Bridgford has a village atmosphere within a busy city. We walked everywhere and felt very safe even late at night. We would recommend this property.
Jenny, June 2014:
Katie was prompt to respond to all my communications, and provided clear information about her accommodation, including a prompt answer to a query after we arrived. As she was on vacation when we arrived she made arrangements for another person to respond to a any queries, and informed us of this. It was very easy to do business with her.
The apartment was as described, clean and well equipped. The provision of tea, coffee, sugar and laundry detergent was a welcome surprise. The bed was comfortable and wi-fi worked well. We were a little surprised that there was no microwave in the kitchen.
This apartment is very handy to the shops on West Bridgford High Street (Central Avenue) with many eating out options and two supermarkets. The bus service into the city is frequent and easy to use.

We stayed in Katie's property on Loughborough Rd for a month with our 2 year old daughter. The property was well located for public transport, very clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped. The building the apartment is in was very quiet and safe, and the free wifi was fast and very useful.
Katie is very friendly and an excellent host. She met us at the property at the agreed time and spent time showing us all the features and making sure we were comfortable. She is very knowledgable about the area and was able to answer any questions we had. I would strongly recommend this property, or any of Katie's other properties, to anyone looking for short or longer term accommodation in West Bridgford.
Martyn, November 2013:
Katie was a great host and did all she could to make me feel comfortable during my stay. The apartment had lovely big rooms and I had a great stay and would therefore recommend Katie to anyone.

Sarah, April 2015:
Katie kindly provided a highchair for our 9 month old son and emailed us a great 'welcome' pack detailing restaurants and supermarkets in the area, along with transport options etc. It was very helpful. West Bridgford was a great area to stay in. Katie was very easy to deal with & sending around a few extra towels was no problem at all either.
Janice February 2015:
A notre demande, un lit BB avait été mis à notre disposition ainsi qu'une chaise haute. Les essentiels pour démarrer notre semaine étaient à notre disposition aussi. Logement clair, ensoleillé et bien chauffé; quartier calme et agréable.
What Jannick loved about your listing:
Logement clair, ensoleillé et bien chauffé. Mise à disposition de matériel BB très appréciée, ainsi que des essentiels (thé, sucre, produit vaisselle....) pour démarrer la semaine, ainsi que des informations claires pour les restaurants et la découverte des environs.
Luke, October 2014:
The apartment was great. The best bit about it was the fantastic location in West Bridgford- literally a stone's throw from Trent Bridge, and another couple of hundred yards from the City Ground. Katie's communications were excellent and she made sure we had everything we needed. The key was available in a drop box outside the apartment which meant we could arrive whenever we wanted (great when you're really disorganised!) Thanks for a great stay!
Suzanne, September 2014:
I needed a place to stay at very short notice and Katie was so helpful in accommodating my request. She was there to meet me on arrival with the keys and a big welcoming smile ..... and hung around to chat for quite a while, making sure everything was ok for me. The apartment is at the back of a block and so very peaceful despite being on a mainish road, it was very clean with comfy beds, a good shower and quick wi-fi - the main things that matter to me when staying away from home! The parking was really handy and there was a lovely communal garden that I didn't get to use but which would be lovely to sit in in the summer. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in West Bridgford or Nottingham generally, as it was very easy to get into the city.
Response from Katie:
Suzanne - It was lovely to meet you - thanks for your kind words, I hope you will visit us again soon. Katie
Anja, Australia, August 2014:
The host was great. She left us a book (and email) describing events in the local area and all necessities relating to the flat and our needs. We had a young baby and she left a travel cot and high chair (even though our daughter was too young yo use it)! The gesture and proactivity was very much appreciated. The property was very clean and well looked after. There were a few very little things that needed attention but barely worth mentioning. However the host took our phone calls and was very accessible throughout our stay.
Trevlyn, September 2013:
Had a brilliant stay, the place was beautiful quiet and comfortable .. Perfect ! Katie was a brilliant host as she had reassured me on everything .. I will be staying here in the future :)
Josebet, France, July 2013:
A fully and good equipped apartment. Very luxurious with a Nespresso coffee machine and oven. We loved the bathroom with bath! It was also nice to have a washing machine and dryer.
The contact with Katie was very good. We would recommend it to stay here.
Anand, India, July 2013:
Katie was an excellent host and the apartment was better than it looked in photos. Katie had ensured that everything was set up perfectly for our stay and was happy to help when we needed something. The apartment itself is modern, and the thoughtful choice of furnishing ensures the best use of space available. If you're going to Nottingham to watch cricket at Trent Bridge, you really can't do much better in terms of location.
