You may wish to buy ultimately, and we can certainly help you with that if you tell us as much of your specific criteria as possible, but we advise you'd be best off starting off with a serviced apartment or long let to get to know the area before buying, especially as the conveyancing process in the UK can take around 6 months even when it's quick!

Long Let 

Long Let in the UK is deemed to be 6 months or longer, this is a legal term and has a different contract to short lets which are more like holiday letting.
​Long lets can be found furnished but these are often furnished to a student standard, which may not be suitable for a family or professional person. Most families will be looking for an unfurnished long let if they are looking to rent long term. 
We can advise you where to source furniture to suit your taste and budget as well as how to set up the utilities - broadband, water, electricity, gas, TV License, and council tax with ease.

Quarantine in a hotel or serviced apartment

We recommend serviced apartments for quarantine, as they are more homely than hotels, and we can help you to get your groceries delivered so that you have everything that you need from the moment you land in the UK. 
Most supermarkets in the UK will deliver online and you can get almost anything else that you need to complete your quarantine from Amazon.

Short Let a Serviced Apartment

A Serviced Apartment is a flat or house which is provided on a weekly term and is fully furnished and equipped as when Covid allows, it is cleaned and the beds are changed once a week. All bills are included so life is simple, and this option usually works out a lot cheaper than living in a hotel because there's a kitchen, so you do not have to eat out for every meal which can get expensive in the UK.
The bills which are included are Water, Gas, Electricity, TV License, Council tax, and weekly cleaning which may be provided depending on the contract and Covid compliancy.
