Quiet one bedroom ground floor flat, just 1 minute from park with tennis courts
This is a lovely spacious one bedroom flat with all the mod cons you could need during your stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge and freezer, unlimited Wifi and public parking on the street outside. The bedroom has French doors opening straight onto the quiet private garden. The spacious lounge has original Victorian features and the bedroom is through the kitchen and short corridor from the lounge so it has a real feeling of being a good sized flat for 2 people - very different and a lot more comfortable than a hotel room.
The very short walk to the "Cafe Culture" of West Bridgford's shops, restaurants and cafes takes you through the beautiful West Bridgford field with its playground for older children and floodlit basketball court, along past 2 immaculately kept communal tennis courts and you arrive on "The Avenue" with the ability to stay there and enjoy the atmosphere, or take a 5 minute bus into Nottingham town centre past Nottingham Train Station.
If you go left past the tennis courts instead of carrying on to the basketball courts you will find a lovely walk through West Bridgford Park, with its outside gym equipment and baby & toddler playground as well as its wide open space for a kick about or a sunbathe should the weather permit it. From here you can walk through Marks & Spencer's Food Hall to "The Avenue" to enjoy the Farmers Market every other Saturday or many other community events which take place in this hub of activity.
