Wilford Village
Wilford Village hosts Nottingham's BIGGEST charity firework display and this year it's in aid of Rainbows children's hospice. If you're staying in one of our apartments, Wilford is pretty much on your doorstep, you can easily walk there along the river from central West Bridgford, or it's a 5-minute drive.
The bonfire will be on Nottingham Moderns Rugby Ground next to the tram stop between the Ferry Inn and the Toll Bridge (it'll be pretty hard to miss!). And there'll be two firework displays, a hog roast, plenty of real ale, and live music from local bands Terminal 5 Experience and Homesick.
Timings:
5.00p.m. Gates and Hog Roast & Real Ale Marquee open, and music starts
6.15p.m. Lighting of the bonfire

If you fancy heading into town on Saturday night you might want to check out the FREE firework display at Forest Recreation Ground (next to the A60, north of the centre of Nottingham). Held every year, it's absolutely free to go to but be warned, it's popular! The organisers are expecting upwards of 40,000 people so leave your car at home and jump on a bus or tram instead (nearest tram stop is The Forest). There'll be two firework displays, oodles of food at all sorts of food stalls, hot drinks (no alcohol) and fairground rides.
